SERVICES

1. The property comes with a Caretaker couple who manage the cooking and cleaning. The main caretaker has over 17 years of experience in this line and his wife makes delicious food.

2. Bookings can be for the Country Manor (2 ensuite rooms, room sit-outs, with a long covered balcony) or for the Pinewood Chalet (1 ensuite room, room sit-out, with a covered balcony, and outdoor covered living area) or for the Full Property.

3. We currently do not cater to guests accompanied with pets, children below 5 years, or with family members who are seriously sick requiring special dietary &/or medical attention at the property. We also do not cater to groups of all boys/men.

4. Linen (bedsheets/pillowcases, towels) are changed every 5 days or when a new guest arrives or if there is any emergency. Toiletries (soap, shampoo, kit) are restocked as needed. The rooms and toilets are cleaned and made neat daily.

5. Long stays of 5 days or more get free laundry (wash and dry only) once in every 5 days. For shorter stays, we have an external dry cleaner who the guest pays directly.

6. We have a huge 10,000 litre underground water tank, 2 water lines, and also do rainwater harvesting.

7. We have two 1.1 KVA Li-ion inverters and one 7KVA Honda generator backing up the inverters. These back up the lights, fans, TV, internet, and water pumps only. Guests keep their geysers on. Space heaters are not backed up and can be requested for.

8. The Country Manor has a TV (with an Amazon Prime connection) in the smaller room. All 3 rooms come with  Aircon (generator backup on a charge).

9. If a guest books a room with the Aircon on automatic generator backup, there is a separate charge to cover the fuel cost. By itself the room comes with the Aircon anyways from 1 April to 30 Sept.

10. Other than the above (9), there is no separate charge for utilities (water, electricity, Wi-Fi, gas).

11. We have board games, musical instruments, self-massage equipment, a kid’s comics library, and hookahs.

12. Our (concrete) private road (Avenue of Flags) from our main gate down to the house, has a decent incline and is great for exercise.

13. Guests can sit out in the common areas i.e., Skylight Garden (a covered garden), Blue Bamboo Deck (bamboo trellis on a open wood deck), Red Ruby Bonfire Decks (2 open red sandstone decks),  Skylight Swing Deck (covered garden deck), on the first-floor covered Moroccan Deck (for viewing), the Bamiyan Garden, Party room/Bonfire pit area, or walk in the Jungle Forest walk below.

14. On the Moroccan Deck ask for Turkish Tea and smoke our herbal Hookah, payable on actuals.

15. In-room dining is available in all 3 rooms - for the Pinewood Chalet it would be in its outdoor covered living room. Alternately, guests can eat in the Skylight Garden or any of the outdoor open or covered decks (Moroccan deck in the daytime only).

16. Guests can also request for an outdoor Bonfire & charcoal-grilled Kebabs dinner, on the 2 Red Ruby Decks. 

17. We do not take any responsibility for risks or losses incurred (e.g., injury or loss of life) as a result of third-party service providers. If we share contact details this is not an endorsement of the safety controls for the service e.g., for paragliding.

18. Parking is available (one car per booking) on "The Incline".

19. We regularly pest control our property to ensure that guests have a pest-free experience.
20. Breakfast is complimentary (2 persons per room).
21. We offer veg and non-veg food that guests pay for separately.

 

Limitations

1. No illegal (e.g., narcotics) or immoral (e.g., prostitution) activities are allowed on the property.

2. All furnishings and fittings belong to the owner and guests acquire no rights to any of these.

3. Guests can license the full property/ units for up to one month and have a limited license to use the facilities for their vacation. They acquire no property rights either directly or indirectly.

4. Guests cannot invite outsiders to the property unless they take the Caretakers permission.

5. Guests who are abusive (verbal or physical) towards the Caretakers will be asked to leave the property and no refund will be paid for monies received.
